Donations
Children's Hearts Fund depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like you, to provide financial donations to support research efforts. Since 1996, Children's Hearts Fund has helped families through research support, communication and mainly by funding research that will find a cure for this devastating disease. All of those helped are children.
All the funding received goes into an account within the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, with the primary intent to cure PLE. Direction of this program is under a research board headed by Dr. Michael Roland, Cardiology Department, Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. The Foundation solicits grant applications, which are reviewed for funding by the Children's Hearts Fund Research Board.

Donation Envelope
The donation envelope that you will receive in your newsletter can be used in many ways. It may be used in place of birthday cards, anniversary cards, engagements, memorials or just plain "thinking of you" notes. Send the envelope with a donation to Ms. Ellen Egan, whose name and address appears on the front. When she receives an envelope she will send a note to the person in whose name the donation was made with your name as the sender. In turn, you will receive a letter for tax purposes, stating your donation to the Children's Hearts Fund. It is a very special way to celebrate any occasion and the money goes directly for research.

Mailing Financial Donations
You may also send your donation directly to the Children's Hearts Fund, Women and Childrens Hospital Foundation 1260 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209, but you MUST make your check payable to the Children's Hearts Fund to ensure your restricted donation
